Greetings from Jesus Loves You Too!®
When you are sitting in your room resting, maybe thinking on the day’s events, do you sometimes wonder what’s next? Where does this life go from here? Is there really life after death and what does that mean?
We make decisions every day. Some are small: like what to eat for breakfast - a banana or a bowl of cereal (my usual choices). Some are life altering: "What school should I go to?" "Should I join the military?" "Should I marry this person?" "Should I move to another city?"
However, all of us have made one decision that will alter our very future - our very eternity: “Do I believe in this man called Jesus or do I not?”
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Most of us have seen someone on TV (or in person) holding a sign with "John 3:16" on it @ football games, soccer games, and other sporting events so often it kind of becomes expected - a part of the scenery. The Holy Bible is God’s revelation to man (us - His creation) of who He is. The entire Bible centers on this verse.
The Bible verse @ the top of this page is John 15:13. It describes the love Jesus has for you and me. He willingly gave His life for us.
God created us in His image and He loves us. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus died on the cross and rose again on the 3rd day. His sacrifice covers us from our sin if we accept Him as our Savior, and ask for forgiveness of our sins.
You cannot be too hard-hearted, bad, mean, hateful, heartless, or too lazy, jaded, uncaring, apathetic, unpleasant, or sin too much in your life for God not to forgive you, and Jesus not to love you! There is nothing you have done in your life that will keep you from entering into God's presence as a child of God, if you will just believe in Him. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Once you have knowledge of Jesus, and what He did for us, you make your decision. You may choose not to believe or accept Him. You may accept Him, ask for forgiveness, and become a child of God. Or you may not make a decision either way. Three distinct choices: only one will secure your place in eternity with the Father God.
SALVATION PRAYER
If you do not know Jesus as your Savior and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith, and Jesus will be your Lord!
"Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word (the Bible) says "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" and "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." You said my salvation would be the result of Your Holy Spirit giving me new birth by coming to live in me and that if I would ask, You would fill me with Your Spirit. I take You at Your Word. I confess that Jesus is Lord. I ask that you forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe in my heart that You have raised Jesus from the dead and I am a "New Man" (or Woman) in Christ. Thank You for coming to live in my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen."(Luke 11:13; Acts 2:4, 2:21; Romans 8:9-11, 10:9; John 3:5-6, 15-16)
Once you have said the prayer of salvation, and asked Jesus into your heart, you become a new person. You should want to change from being the sinful person you were, to a new person in Jesus. If you don't feel an intense desire to change, and turn away from your sin and your old sin-nature, then you ARE NOT SAVED. I beg you to search your heart and really turn to Jesus and ask for forgiveness and TURN AWAY FROM YOUR OLD SIN LIFE. See this page to guide you along the way and please don't hesitate to email me if there is anything I can do to help you.
